DŶSENTERY BLUES Acoustic intro: I’m on top of the tallest peak in the area, somewhere along the Smoky mountains.. fog rolling over tree covered hills. Still 5am early morning fall air... Band kicks in: Vocals are in focus. They hurt. Guitar lead comes in with classic simplicity but genuine feeling and expression as you felt before if you bothered to listen to their previous album. Band cuts out. Intricate finger picking technique reminds me of drops of water falling from the trees to the ground below. Epic build up rolls direct into sick vocal and blast section. Guitars are driven. Bass is solid as always, unsung even. Another guitar solo really pours it on thick some nice melodies and shredding. Switches tones as well mid way, love it. X2. Back to blast/trem work. I’ve said before, love this guys voice. Drums sound great in this passage. Dies down. Nice noodle of a guitar dish comes in. Drums get kinda groovy, and an ever so fuzzy guitar lead finds its way into your ears. More feeling. Great work on that section. Vocals bust in low like, very good. Nice range on display. Builds to crescendo. Drops out. Clean and drippy guitar outro with a little fuzz on the edge. Great way to end a terrific single. Bravo.

Last Light 09:54
I awake And taste the autumn air The gates of my heart have flung open And my soul, Shackled to the sea The scent of hawthorn has faded The voice of my heart has spoken Deep from within Holding so close Of what was never there My heart buried in the grey sands My soul shackled to the sea Far beyond myself To a place where I am no one But me Still hopelessly lost Searching for something pure Something true

about

"At nearly 10 minutes in length, “Last Light” is an epic, and a musical journey that compels the listener with feelings of sorrow, pain, and in some respects, triumph. Morrow has crafted a fine piece of black metal that incorporates many progressive elements into an intriguing new single."
-National Rock Review

"The acoustic guitar work is masterfully executed and excels in establishing an air of melancholy and desolation. The single takes many shapes and forms throughout its duration and is a definite indicator of the fact that Morrow is headed in the right direction."
-Bitter is Taste
